We are glad to write to you that we are organizing The First Indo-US International Conference on Polymers for Packaging Applications (ICPPA 2012), Kottayam, Kerala, India.

This conference will be exclusively dedicated to food, non-food and industrial packaging applications of polymers, blends, nanostructured materials, macro, micro and nanocomposites, renewable and biodegradable materials. We will also focus on the physical, thermal and barrier properties, and sustainability, recycling and regulatory issues. The conference will be extremely useful for scientific exchange between researchers and industry leaders from all over the world. Attendees and speakers will include chemists, physicists, material scientists, food technologists and engineers, making it a truly interdisciplinary conference. The goal of the conference emphasizes interdisciplinary research on processing, morphology, structure, properties and applications of polymers in packaging of food and industrial products. The conference will feature keynote addresses, a number of plenary sessions, invited talks and contributed lectures focusing on specific tenets of processing, morphology, structure, properties and applications of polymers in packaging of food and industrial products. Additionally, there will be several poster sessions, and the four best poster presentations will be selected to receive an award.

In view of your research contributions in the field of polymer science, we would like to welcome you to give an invited talk for the International Conference on Polymers for Packaging Applications. An appropriate title could be decided by you. The scientific committee of the conference is aware of your published works in this field.
